Show Notes

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast Coach Harvey Hyde and Ryan Abraham recap what was an extremely news-packed and interesting seven days for the USC football program. Within hours of us releasing our post-Stanford podcast athletic director Mike Bohn announced that Clay Helton was fired and Donte Williams was taking over the team as the interim head coach.

Williams made accountability priority No. 1 for the entire USC football program and the results paid off with a 45-14 road win against the Washington State Cougars. Williams also has a quarterback controversy on his hands as true freshman Jaxson Dart came in for the injured Kedon Slovis and threw for 391 yards in his debut, a USC record.
