In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino are back in studio digesting the Trojans heartbreaking 43-42 loss to Utah in Salt Lake City. The setback certainly stings but the guys talk about whether or not they feel that this USC football team can bounce back and use it as a motivating factor going forward, propelling them to a potential conference championship in Lincoln Riley's first season.
They also breakdown what they saw and heard from USC's Tuesday morning BYE week practice and give some early assessments of what USC can expect for the next game, a road trip to Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats. Arizona can certainly put points on the board so it could be another difficult task for this struggling Trojan defense, but the offense should flourish against the Wildcats who have surrendered exactly 49 points in each of their three conference losses.
