He grew up in London and studied at Cambridge and Harvard. In 1981, he moved to Italy where he has lived ever since, raising a family of three children. Tim Parks’s acclaimed books about Italy include Italian Ways, Italian Neighbors, and An Italian Education. He is a regular contributor to the New York Review of Books.
