He grew up in a Mormon household as the youngest of 6 kids and speaks highly of his upbringing. Daniel served a mission in Detroit Michigan and became a collegiate athlete. His life experiences include a struggle with addiction, getting married and divorced at a young age and ultimately finding a way out of his addiction (mostly alcohol).
