In Kedah, there is a plot of land where a massive ancient tree stands alone. The villagers believe the tree is not just part of nature, but the dwelling of an ancient spirit. For generations, people have treated the place with respect, leaving offerings and avoiding disturbing the tree. They say the spirit that lives there is an ancient spirit.
