This podcast gives students an overview of childhood obesity. It covers the increasing prevalence of obesity among children, associated health risks and gives an approach of how to talk to children and their families. This podcast was written by Chantelle Champagne and Dr. Mary Jetha. Chantelle is a medical student at the University of Alberta. Dr. Jetha is a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta.
