This episode reviews the management of IgE-mediated food allergies in children. At the end of the podcast, listeners will be able to define food allergy, develop and approach to the history and physical examination of a child with an allergic reaction to food, describe how a food allergy is diagnosed, discuss the treatment of allergic reaction to food, and outline long term risk reduction strategies for a food allergy.
