If you’re a first time mom you have probably asked or will ask “but how will I know when I’m in labor.” That’s such a good question but I also think it may not be as important to answer as you think it is. For my last 3 births I have experienced prodromal labor which feels like early labor and it lasts for 2-3 weeks before I actually end up having a baby. This has taught me a few things… I’m excited to share with you today what my exact routine is for when I go into labor and the questions I ask myself so I’m prepared for what’s ahead. Early labor is my absolute favorite and I think that I can attribute it to this routine. This is also what I would tell all of my doula clients to do.
