From the time we're born we begin getting feedback. "You have gorgeous eyes." "Oh- I think he's going to follow in his father's footsteps." "You're funny." "You're smart." As we begin to grow older the definitions start to change. "Doctor" "Mother" "Divorced" When people introduce us, they use these describing terms as ways to explain who we are to other people.
