Under the dedicated leadership of Rose Gale-Zoellick, BGHP has become a sanctuary for the residents of Humboldt and Del Norte counties, offering free services and compassionate care to approximately 382 individuals every year. The lifeblood of this organization is the power of community—not only through generous donations and grants but also through inventive fundraising activities, like their annual raffle featuring exciting prizes.

 

Amy highlights the pivotal role of the organization's "warmliners," whose empathetic presence provides continuous support to patients at every stage, from diagnosis to survivorship. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, BGHP stands as a shining example of community-driven strength, reminding us all of the profound impact compassionate initiatives can have on empowering individuals and fostering resilience.
