Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Joining me today is Eric von Essex, who shares personal anecdotes from his father's experiences during World War II. Eric's father was a survivor of the siege of Malta, the invasion of Sicily, Italy, and D-Day itself. We discuss the often overlooked aspects of war, including the camaraderie and humanity shown by soldiers on both sides.
