Mark Schofield is back on the microphone with an Emergency Edition of The Scho Show. Under the agreement reached between the NFL and the NFLPA regarding a return to the field, NFL players have until August 3rd to choose to opt out of the season ahead. Some big names have already taken that option, including a number of New England Patriots. Dont'a Hightower, the stalwart linebacker, is the biggest name so far. He will certainly be difficult to replace on the interior of the Patriots' linebacker group, especially considering the other losses at that position this off-season.
