With a win, the Patriots secure at least the #5 seed. With a loss and a win by one of the Colts or Raiders, the Patriots would be the #6 seed. With a loss and wins by the Colts and Raiders, the Patriots would be the #7 seed. Basically, the Patriots can be anything except the #4 seed- and the Patriots would absolutely like to win to enhance their chances of a positive path through the postseason.
