The New England Patriots needed a last-second 51-yard field goal to defeat the winless New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Jets quarterback Joe Flacco had a typical superlative performance against the Patriots, despite being terrible against all other teams, and New England trailed by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter. And yet Cam Newton and the Jakobi Meyers-led passing attack mounted an impressive comeback and New England managed to win.
