There's no way around it- the New England Patriots offense stunk against a middling Denver Broncos defense. Cam Newton looked bad in his return from the COVID-19 reserves and the continuous stream of injuries to the offensive line didn't help. The Patriots offense has been one of the worst in the league over the past two games- where is the offense from the first three weeks of the year? Julian Edelman has to be dealing with an injury, because he's been a ghost. The running backs are hurting from the lack of consistency on the offensive line. And when the heck are the rookie tight ends going to see a target? Fortunately, the defense looks great.
