Show Notes

In this episode we have a fun and engaging conversation with Roberto Monaco about his journey into health through artful communication as well as his own touching personal story with chiropractic.

Roberto Monaco didn't learn storytelling and the science of influence in a classroom. He learned them during one of the most challenging seasons of his life. After leaving a corporate finance job in Brazil in search of greater purpose, he found himself in the U.S., working as a field speaker for the Anthony Robbins Companies. The job? Book talks. Deliver them. And close high-ticket sales on 100% commission.

But in those early months, Roberto struggled. Despite enthusiastic feedback, he couldn't close. Stressed and frustrated, he hit a breaking point—one that landed him in the hospital with unexplained pain. The diagnosis: stress. The real cause? A belief that he loved speaking… but hated selling. That moment sparked a complete transformation. He didn't just shift his mindset from "selling" to "serving." He dove into everything he could find on psychology, persuasion, public speaking, and influence. One pattern became clear: the most powerful communicators didn't rely on knowledge or experience alone. They combined compelling personal stories, social influence strategies, and confident, intentional delivery. They knew how to capture attention, build trust, and ethically move people to take action. Roberto began applying these principles in every talk—and the results spoke for themselves. His audience engagement deepened. His confidence soared. And his conversions took off. He soon became the #1 speaker for Tony Robbins and was invited to hire and train other speakers for the company. As his impact grew, so did his methodology. Roberto refined his approach into a repeatable system. In 2009, he partnered with Jeff Paro to co-found InfluenceOlogy—a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, executives, experts, and coaches master the art and science of ethical influence. Today, Roberto has delivered over 4,500 presentations, coached more than 15,000 hours, and trained leaders in over 45 industries. His mission is simple: to help people turn their message into their most powerful tool for impact, income, and influence.
