Medellin, 1973. Pablo Escobar is building the most powerful drug cartel in history, and Keon has arrived with possibly the most ambitious opening gambit in PastMaster history: become Escobar's right-hand man with a 50/50 split of all the takings. Just walk up and ask. Based on the documentaries he's watched, he reckons this is achievable. The documentaries, notably, all end badly.
Keon's plan to prove his worth starts with a lavish party and the kind of confidence that either gets you a seat at the table or gets you shot. Nick Horseman lends his voice to Game Master duties while Ryan attempts a South American accent using his GCSE Spanish. The Game Master offers several routes into the cartel. Keon opts for confidence over caution, because that is the only setting Keon has.
1970s Medellin was ground zero for the cocaine trade that would reshape global politics, fund wars, and turn Escobar into one of the wealthiest men on the planet. He was personally responsible for an estimated 4,000 deaths. The cartel's rise was brutal, calculated, and relentless. Whether parties and charm are enough to get a time traveller into the inner circle of the most dangerous man in Colombia is the kind of question PastMaster exists to answer.
