More often than it should, the teacher is television programming, music, or a bad example of a man in the young boy’s life. It’s ever more obvious that young boys need someone to look up to and show them what manhood and fatherhood should look like. This is where Dr. Meg’s conversation with John Smithbaker is so important if you have boys in your family or you are a man that feels the call to pour into someone else’s life. Dr. Meeker and John talk about the importance of a “father figure” and how you can be one to a young boy in need.
