We all know that the Earth is warming up. It doesn't matter if you believe in Global Warming or not - the facts are the facts. Set you personal beliefs aside. If you take a look at the facts, you cannot ignore that the climate is changing, and not necessarily in a good way.
The warming of the planet is causing more than just temperature change. The ice is also thawing and scientists are sounding the alarm that we could see the re-emergence of ancient pathogens that haven't been active for, quite literally, thousands of years. These viruses have been locked away in glaciers and permafrost and could suddenly wake up if they thaw. Considering our current pandemic, this is a scary thought and, one that could be on the verge of taking place sooner, rather than later.
