In this episode we explore the next parable of the master "Unfruitful Fig Tree". Building upon the previous episode; "Faithful and Wise Servants" attempt to understand the dualistic nature of the subconscious in order to differentiate between truth and fallacy. Specifically, we focus on the inevitable contradictions that emerge from the depths of the subconscious and investigate why it is that true seekers struggle with accepting this phenomena. In addition, we look at concrete examples in our everyday lives where the lessons of this parable apply. Ultimately, however, we seek to answer the question of how the truth we hold in the depths of the subconscious eventually moves us toward action.

S1 Ep 10Faithful and Wise Servant
In this episode we explore the ninth parable of the master "Faithful and Wise Servant". Initially we dive in deep to investigate the true nature of the subconscious mind as well as the acquisition of true knowledge. In addition, we shine our inner light of attention on the servants that dwell within us and their various roles relative to the ego (lead servant). Finally, we take a deeper look at what it actually means to be a faithful and wise servant and being put in charge of all that the master owns.

In this episode we explore the eighth parable of the master, "Watchfulness". We begin by investigating the nature of attention through our study of the senses as well as the inner meanings of the parable through some though experiments that give us glimpses into the nature of our subconscious processes. We also investigate the theological meaning of this parable and what we can do as spiritual seekers to become more attentive, vigilant and ready for the coming of the Lord.

In this episode we explore the seventh parable of the master, "The Rich Fool". We begin by investigating the nature of greed as we attempt to understand first hand the facility of desire and the minds endless pursuit for permanent happiness. We also take a closer look at social classes and hierarchal power structures existing today, which are born out of that very greed and desire for permanence.

In this episode we explore the sixth parable of the master, "All Shall Be Revealed". We dive deeper into investigating the nature of selfishness as we try to overcome the phobia associated with being selfish, given the negative connotations associated with it. We also take a closer look at what it actually means to give and to help others.

In this episode we explore the fifth parable of the master "The Moneylender". We dive deep to investigate love and forgiveness as well as the relationship between the two and arrive at certain conclusions about what it takes to actually forgive, as well as to be forgiven.

In this episode we explore the fourth parable of the master "Wise and Foolish Builders". We dive deep to gain an understanding of why we can't simply live life by the word and what it actually means to love our neighbor as ourself. In addition, we also labor to come to some conclusions about the polarizing nature of society which appears to be ruled by fear.

In this episode we explore the third parable of the master "Lamp on a Stand". We dive deep into the genesis of self in order to truly understand what it means to be the light of the world. To accomplish this we also rely on some theological concepts in order to better understand the path of a seeker from the very depths of their being and back up to the Father in Heaven.

In this episode we investigate the second parable of the master, "New Wine in Old Wineskin" as it pertains to the path of a spiritual seeker. Particularly, we investigate deeper into the nature of belief and learn how to overcome the fear of self introspection.

In this episode we explore the first parable of the master, "New Patch On An Old Garment". We dive inwardly to understand the difference between real problems and superficial ones and how to remain attentive when it is most difficult. We also investigate the nature of true knowledge and how we come to obtain it.
