In the 10th arrondissement of Paris at place Colonel Fabien, just up from the lovely canal St Martin and opposite the curious headquarters of the Communists building you will see a usual Paris scene of day to day life. but that would have been very different had we passed by here anytime between in the 14th-18th Century so come with me to discover the sombre story of the gibbet of Montfaucon.
