Emmanuel, costretto dalle circostanze a darsi da fare, si è inventato un lavoro come vivaista, seguendo l'ispirazione di Mayra, che ha un vero talento per le piante.
Le difficoltà da superare e i costi da affrontare però sono insormontabili per un ragazzo così giovane: fortunatamente suo padre e suo fratello decidono di dargli una mano, anche se la situazione fra lui e Michele non sembra affatto essersi pacificata: resta fra i due fratelli una forte tensione, a malapena controbilanciata da un sincero affetto reciproco.

Emmanuel, forced by circumstances to get busy, has invented a job as a nurseryman, following the inspiration of Mayra, who has a real talent for plants.
But the difficulties to overcome and the costs to face are insurmountable for such a young boy: fortunately his father and his brother decide to give him a hand, even if the situation between him and Michele does not seem to have calmed down at all: there remains a strong tension between the two brothers, barely counterbalanced by a sincere mutual affection.
