In this episode, Shaykh Dr. Ahsan Hanif explains that Allah reminded the believers of a past event where they fled the battlefield, despite the Prophet calling them back. Allah allowed them to face distress as a lesson not to grieve over worldly losses. After this trial, Allah granted them security.
Some believers were distracted by selfish thoughts, but Allah knows all that is hidden in their hearts. Those who turned away during the battle were influenced by Satan, but Allah forgave them. Believers are advised not to be like hypocrites who regret not joining battles, as Allah controls life and death. The forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far greater than worldly wealth, and ultimately, everyone will return to Allah.
