There's no distinction between them; all are submitted to Allah. Rejecting Islam leads to loss in the hereafter.
Allah عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ doesn't guide those who disbelieve after acknowledging the truth. Their fate is the curse of Allah, angels, and humanity, dwelling eternally in Hell with no relief unless they sincerely repent and do good deeds. True piety involves spending in Allah's cause from what one cherishes, known well by Allah عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.
