In this episode, Shaykh Dr. Ahsan Hanif explains that Allah advises believers:
When you owe someone for a specific time, write it down. A fair scribe should document it justly, as taught by Allah. The one in debt should speak and not reduce what is owed, fearing Allah.
If they can't speak, their guardian can, and two male witnesses are preferred. If unavailable, a man and two women can serve as witnesses. Everyone involved should not refuse to testify. It's crucial to write down contracts, no matter the size, for a clear term, preventing doubts. Immediate trades done in person are an exception. Harming the scribe or witnesses is wrong, so fear Allah. Allah is aware of everything.
