In this lesson of Sūrah Yūsuf (69–79), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf recounts the emotional reunion between Yūsuf عليه السلام and his full brother, Binyamīn, and the wise plan Yūsuf sets in motion to keep him in Egypt. By placing the king’s measuring bowl in Binyamīn’s bag, Yūsuf creates a situation that appears incriminating yet serves a greater purpose decreed by Allāh. The brothers, unaware of his identity, react with suspicion and defensiveness, even reviving old accusations.
