In this lesson on Sūrah Hūd, verses 61–68, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explores the story of the Prophet Ṣāliḥ (AS) and his mission to the people of Thamūd. The lesson highlights Ṣāliḥ’s sincere call to monotheism, the miraculous she-camel as a clear sign from Allah, and the arrogance and disbelief of his people. Despite repeated warnings, they defied the command and killed the she-camel, leading to their destruction by a mighty blast. The lecture reflects on the consequences of rejecting divine guidance and the mercy shown to the believers who stood firm.
