In this lesson on Sūrah Hūd (verses 18 to 28), Shaykh Dr Aḥsan Ḥanīf explores the severe consequences faced by those who fabricate lies about Allāh and lead others astray. The verses contrast these individuals, deaf and blind to guidance, with those who believe, act righteously, and humble themselves before their Lord who are promised eternal Paradise. The lesson also introduces the story of Prophet Nūḥ (Noah, peace be upon him), highlighting his clear warning to his people and their arrogant rejection. Through these examples, the verses emphasise the themes of divine justice, the accountability of leaders and followers, and the role of prophets in guiding mankind despite rejection and ridicule.
