In this lesson of Sūrah Yūnus, verses 98–106, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains the unique case of the people of Prophet Yūnus (Jonah) — the only nation whose collective repentance saved them from divine punishment. The verses go on to affirm that guidance is in Allah’s control alone, and that no amount of signs will benefit those who choose not to reason or reflect. The lesson concludes with powerful instructions given to the Prophet ﷺ: to remain steadfast in worshipping Allah alone, reject shirk, and never call upon anyone besides Him — a timeless message of sincerity, tawḥīd, and submission.
