It has become a place of pilgrimage for not only golfers from all parishes of Ireland, but for golfers from every corner of the globe.
Is it the scale of the dunes? The rawness of the terrain or the subtlety of Hackett’s routing through the scale of sand and sea? I don’t know, but I know I need to go back.
