Ep 2028Packers Stunned by Panthers at Lambeau: “Who Are These Guys?” | LempsTalkinPack #229
EChris Lempesis trudged back to the basement Packer room in Milwaukee after spending real, actual, U.S. government-approved money to watch the Green Bay Packers lose 16-13 at Lambeau to the Carolina Panthers — and he would just like to point out, for the record, that none of you suffered like he suffered. You were mad on the couch. He was mad in person. In the cold. In throwback gear he now hates. On this edition of LempsTalkinPack, Chris unloads on what he’s calling the worst game he’s seen at 1265 in 32 years of going — and that includes the old man “I was there for Jermichael Finley’s ACL” era. This one had everything: a massive point-spread faceplant, a head coach overthinking himself, an offense that somehow did not punt once and still scored only 13 stinkin’ points, and then, just to twist the knife, the news that Tucker Kraft is done for the year with a torn ACL one week after we all talked ourselves into him being Travis Kelce’s corn-fed cousin. And yeah — Chris puts a lot of this on Matt LaFleur. Not because it’s trendy, but because it was that obvious. He walks through it all: the same sleepy, horizontal, screen-happy opening script; the insistence on trying to be a “run team” when the line isn’t blocking like a run team; and the totally unnecessary 4th-and-8 red-zone gamble when key weapons were out and the smart play was to just take the points and hand the panic back to Carolina. Instead, LaFleur acted like it was 4th-and-goal in a playoff game, not 11 minutes left at home against a team you’re supposed to handle.Chris also points out something that should be keeping folks on Lombardi up at night: Jordan Love is money in the intermediate part of the field — literally the best in the league on 10–19 yard throws right now — and yet the Packers are throwing behind the line of scrimmage like it’s their job. That’s not playing to your QB. That’s playing to your play sheet. And defensive coordinators, as we saw Sunday, are reading that script like it’s laminated.Does he let the defense off the hook? Of course not. When Rico Dowdle is out there looking like prime Marshawn, that’s a problem. When you can’t get off the field late, that’s a problem. When you only hit the quarterback twice all afternoon, that’s a problem. But Chris’ larger point is: if the offense shows up like a first-place team instead of like a hungover brunch, we’re not even talking about Carolina having the ball at the end. Then he zooms out in classic Lemps fashion: this team just went all-in trading for Micah Parsons — this ain’t the “aww shucks, we’re young” Packers anymore. Expectations are real now. So when you’re losing at home to bad teams, twice in a half season (hi Cleveland), you have to ask the uncomfortable question: is Matt LaFleur actually the guy to get them where they’re clearly trying to go? Chris isn’t firing him on a Monday, but he’s also not handing him $60–75 million and a five-year extension for vibes. He closes with a little sampler of the mailbag — fans mad about running on first down, mad about playing down to opponents, mad about LaFleur treating Jordan Love like he’s still on training wheels — and promises more on Wednesday. It’s cranky, it’s a little hungover, it’s very Wisconsin, and it’s exactly the kind of post-bad-loss therapy session you needed.🎧 Listen now on PackersTalk.com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever you carry the G. Ep 2026Love Actually: Kraft Mac and YAC | Cheesehead Radio #371
The Green Bay Packers are cooking, and this week’s recipe is pure comfort food: a heaping helping of Jordan Love confidence and Tucker Kraft’s glorious YAC attack. In this episode of Cheesehead Radio, the gang dives into Green Bay’s statement 35–25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers — the franchise’s first in the Steel City since Bart Starr in 1970. With Aaron Rodgers on the opposing sideline, Jordan Love delivered a signature primetime performance: 29-of-37 for 360 yards, 3 TDs, and 20 straight completions. Calm, composed, and completely in command.Meanwhile, Tucker Kraft made sure National Tight Ends Day actually meant something in Green Bay, shredding Pittsburgh’s defense for 143 yards and two touchdowns — 132 of those coming after the catch. Yeah, it was that kind of night. From Christian Watson’s triumphant return to Micah Parsons’ constant havoc, the Cheesehead crew (CD, Kelly, and Jersey Al) break down every moment that made this one of the most satisfying wins of the Matt LaFleur era. Then, they look ahead to Week 9 as the Packers return home to Lambeau Field for a noon kickoff against the Carolina Panthers — complete with 1923 throwback uniforms, crisp fall air, and classic Lambeau vibes. Will Green Bay avoid a trap game and keep the NFC’s top seed in sight?Of course, no episode is complete without:Trade deadline talk (spoiler: probably quiet)Cornerback chaos and Carrington Valentine’s riseKicker controversy (McManus vs. Havrisik)Hot Pockets: Kelly, CD, and Jersey Al’s closing takes on Love, leadership, and contender status17 seasons in, Cheesehead Radio is still your home for smart Packers talk with equal parts humor, heart, and healthy sarcasm.🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your Packers fix.Presented by Ticket King, Cheesehead Radio is back for its 17th season — your go-to Packers podcast for news, fun, and a little bit of frivolity.Be sure to join C.D., Al and Kelly on their regular jaunts through the Packers Universe. Ep 2025Emptying The Bag ’25: Steelers Edition | LempsTalkinPack #228
EChris Lempesis returns to the basement Packer Room with a frosty Oktoberfest and a Tuesday Night Mailbag bursting at the seams after the Green Bay Packers’ 35–25 Sunday Night Football win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure. We open on the only controversy that truly matters—throwback jerseys. Why Green Bay’s retro fits work (clean, simple, carry the G energy) and why Pittsburgh’s looked like they were designed by a committee of sleepy bees. From there, Lemps rips open the bag and dives into everything you sent after the win: Jordan Love’s 20-in-a-row heater, Tucker Kraft’s YAC rampage, Quay Walker’s grown-man restraint, and whether Matt LaFleur finally found the “complimentary football” switch at halftime. This one’s peak LempsTalkinPack—fast, funny, and just the right amount of salty. We hit the big debates Packer Nation actually argues about:• Favre vs. Rodgers — one game, life on the line, who’s your QB1?• Run game reality check — why the blocking up front must level up, and how a change-of-pace spark changes everything.• WR room vibes — Christian Watson’s return, rookie flashes, and why Romeo Doubs is the steady hand on money downs.• Defense with teeth — Carrington Valentine looking like a real CB1, Javon Bullard popping, front’s juice when Devonte Wyatt is back.• Special teams sanity — kick talk (again), field position gifts, and when to holster the panic button.• Fake Facebook News — yes, Lemps reads the wildest “TikTok Stadium at Lambeau Park” post so you don’t have to.If you came for Green Bay Packers analysis with actual personality—this is it. Clean breakdowns, spicy jokes, Jordan Love optimism without the Kool-Aid mustache, and a firm belief that Tucker Kraft Day should be a federally observed holiday in Wisconsin. Subscribe, rate, comment, tell a friend, and keep the mailbag stocked for next Tuesday—because when the Pack plays like they did in Pittsburgh, we’re all a little more frolicsome. What you’ll hear:Packers vs. Steelers recap, second-half surge, and why it matters nowJordan Love’s efficiency, confidence, and the “almost-elite” conversationTucker Kraft’s YAC clinic and red-zone identityQuay Walker’s maturity moment (and why it swung a drive)Run game fixes LaFleur can’t ignoreSecondary arrows up: Valentine, Bullard & friendsThrowback jersey rules, ranked and roastedMailbag lightning round (your best questions from X/BlueSky/FB/IG)🎧 Listen now on PackersTalk.com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever you carry the G. Ep 2023Fun at Acrisure-huasca Stadium | Packers Therapy #488
At long last, Chris and Dave have achieved enlightenment — not from ayahuasca, but from beating Aaron Rodgers in black and gold. The trip to Pittsburgh felt like group therapy in a stadium with too many vowels, where the Packers somehow won despite their best efforts to cause a collective coronary. The guys bask in the glow of victory while doing what they do best: picking every nit in sight. The refs were trash. Keisean Nixon apparently decided that tackling was optional. McManus turned every extra point into a hostage situation. Yet somehow, in the second half, Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft started cooking like it was Thanksgiving at Lambeau, and Christian Watson remembered how to run past humans.Meanwhile, Matt LaFleur called plays like a man possessed — part genius, part cardio instructor — and the defense alternated between “dominant” and “doing their taxes.” It’s the full Packers experience, wrapped in sarcasm, relief, and mild disbelief that they actually closed a game.As always, there’s a fresh batch of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Picks for the degenerates, a limerick duel from Tom and Judy Freeman that threatens to become fan-fic, and an impromptu math quiz that breaks Dave’s brain but somehow ends with a correct answer. Chris pitches a theoretical Luke Musgrave-for-cornerback trade, which Dave shoots down faster than a Mason Crosby 2012 field goal. Then it’s on to Pop Culture Therapy: HBO’s TASK (gritty cops, sad rain, biker gangs, perfect), Netflix’s AKA Charlie Sheen (spoiler: still not okay), and a Warren Zevon plug because apparently we’re all aging hipsters now.Packers Therapy at its finest — equal parts joy, panic, and coping through laughter. The Packers are 5-1-1, Rodgers is 3-and-sad, and Chris and Dave are ready to call it: we’ve all reached football nirvana… at least until next Sunday. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. Ep 2022National Tucker Kraft Day: Packers Roast Steelers on SNF | LempsTalkinPack #227
ELemps is back—and so are your Green Bay Packers. After a flat, penalty-sprinkled first half that ended 16–7, Green Bay woke the hell up and blasted past the Steelers 35–25 on Sunday Night Football at Acrisure Stadium. Jordan Love got scorching hot (20 straight completions, 360 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT) while TE Tucker Kraft turned the night into a personal holiday—7 receptions, 143 yards, 2 TD and a YAC clinic the league hasn’t seen from a tight end since 2018.On defense, the Packers hassled Aaron Rodgers all night, tightening coverage after the break and getting home with Rashan Gary (2 sacks) and Micah Parsons (1 sack, multiple pressures). LB Edgerrin Cooper punched out a fourth-quarter fumble that Javon Bullard fell on, and Ty’Ron Hopper blew up the late two-point try to seal it.Other standouts: Christian Watson’s season debut (4 for 85), Savion Williams’ first NFL TD, Josh Jacobs’ short-yardage power, and Emanuel Wilson’s burst in space. With the win, Green Bay moves to 5-1-1, still atop the NFC North—and yes, the Pack just won in Pittsburgh for the first time since 1970. National. Tucker. Kraft. Day.Topics in this episodeWhat went wrong in the first half (drops, play-calling, penalties, special teams misses)The halftime pivot and why LaFleur’s second-half script cookedTucker Kraft’s breakout and why his red-zone usage should be part of the identityJordan Love vs. man coverage and the 20-straight completions heaterDefensive adjustments: Carrington Valentine reps, rush discipline, closing timeListener mailbag preview and sponsor shoutoutsStat NuggetsLove: 29/37, 360 yards (9.7 YPA), 3 TD, 0 INT; 20 straight completions (ties Favre, 2007)Kraft: 7/143/2 with ~131 YAC (most by a TE in a game since 2018)Defense (2H): 6 Steelers first downs, 117 yards allowed before late TDSacks: Gary (2), Parsons (1)Support the showWebsite: Lempstalkinpack.comSubscribe/Rate/Review on Apple Podcasts, Spotify & iHeartTip jar: Venmo & PayPal links on the site (help fund the victory brews!)You can follow Chris on twitter at LempsMKE (@ItsJustChrisNow)LempsTalkinPack is a part of the Packers Talk family of podcasts, serving up five distinct podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. Ep 2017LaFleur Changes Heart and Finds Love | Packers Therapy #487
Chris and Dave return for another half-therapy, half-comedy session disguised as a Packers podcast, fighting through technical difficulties that were somehow less confusing than Matt LaFleur’s play-calling. From Matthew Golden’s rookie spark to Jordan Love’s high-risk red-zone adventures, no topic is off-limits.Expect laughs, stats, and a few lovingly exasperated sighs as they ask the eternal question: are the Packers contenders, pretenders, or just a team that likes to keep us all one field goal away from cardiac arrest?Plus:Josh Jacobs’ flu game and the O-line shuffleMicah Parsons vs. the referees (and gravity)Injury updates, Arizona previews, and game predictions that are bound to age poorly by Sunday nightIt’s Cheesehead Radio—seventeen seasons of wit, wisdom, and Wisconsin-born optimism, even when the coffee’s cold and the defense is tired.🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your Packers fix.Presented by Ticket King, Cheesehead Radio is back for its 17th season — your go-to Packers podcast for news, fun, and a little bit of frivolity.Be sure to join C.D., Al and Kelly on their regular jaunts through the Packers Universe. Ep 2011One Sacko on Flacco is Wacko! | Packers Therapy #486
Chris and Dave return for another emotional autopsy disguised as a Packers podcast, breaking down Green Bay’s “win” over the Bengals—a game so weird it deserves therapy. The defense started out like world-beaters, then ghosted faster than your last Tinder date. LaFleur ran the ball like it was a court-ordered mandate, Jordan Love looked competent… until he didn’t, and poor Tucker Kraft might as well have been in witness protection.Meanwhile, Matthew Golden continues to sparkle, the special teams continue to mystify, and the guys once again prove that humor is the only healthy coping mechanism for Packers fandom. From the one sack on Joe “Still Somehow Playing” Flacco to the latest batch of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Picks for the degenerates who love pain and parlays, it’s another week of laughs, lamentations, and long-distance diagnoses from Packers Therapy.Grab your beverage of choice, lower your expectations, and join Chris, Dave, and Dr. Klaus (in spirit) as they unpack the psychological damage that comes from caring too much about this team. Ep 2010A Win Is a Win… But.... | LempsTalkinPack #223
EChris Lempesis is back in the basement Packer Room for another round of honest-to-God Packers talk, breaking down Green Bay’s uneven 27–18 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at Lambeau Field. It’s victory beer time, but not without a few grimaces — because as Chris says, a win is a win… but…The first half looked like a slog, the second half like a surge. Jordan Love made some elite-level throws and Josh Jacobs bulldozed his way through the Bengals defense (while sick, no less), but the defense and special teams continued to struggle with consistency. Once again, the Packers looked like two different teams in one game — dominant in stretches, disjointed in others. In this episode:The duality of the 2025 Packers: flashes of greatness vs. maddening lapsesJordan Love’s almost-elite performance — and the one or two throws still holding him backJosh Jacobs: “an all-time dude,” sick and still sensationalOffensive line redemption (and why chemistry matters as much as talent)The defense’s disappearing act after halftime and Jeff Hafley’s quick-pass problemThe continued lack of takeaways — and what it says about this “almost great” defenseA few choice listener takes from BlueSky, Instagram, and email, including whether Matt LaFleur can really get this team over the humpIt’s a cathartic, funny, and classic Lemp episode — equal parts realism and ridiculousness — as the Pack moves to 3-1-1 and back atop the NFC North. Ep 2008Calling All Degenerates | Packers Therapy 485
Bye week? Please. That just means open season for the Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Picks and a full hour of Chris and Dave gleefully poking at the Packers with a stick. We kick off by welcoming “all you degenerates” (their words!) and delivering a gloriously unhinged Ticket King read, including a debate over whether it’s “TicketKing.com” or, uh, something the firewall should block. Wisconsin’s finest since the 90s, baby. Then it’s on to the week’s main event: previewing the Cincinnati Bengals helmed by the timeless wonder Joe Flacco—yes, that Joe Flacco—freshly anointed as starter at age 40. Expect jokes, some geriatric scouting, and an earnest look at why Cincy thinks the savvy vet can hold the fort. The fellas stack that against a Green Bay defense that—statistically!—has been elite vs. the pass (tops in yards per attempt) and top-five vs. the run, even if Dallas left bruises. Meanwhile, the Bengals’ pass D? Seventh worst by YPA. File under: opportunities.Jordan “Trap Door” Love also gets his turn on the couch: somehow fourth in NFL passer rating (113!) despite one back-breaking pick that tanked the Browns game optics. The guys re-litigate how one throw can hijack a narrative, and they game out what a smart plan vs. Cincy’s shaky pass D should look like.WR watch: Christian Watson returned to practice—no promises for Sunday, but decoy-deep shots to unlock Kraft? Discussed. (Also: do not “Zach Tom” him back onto the field.)There’s a spirited mini-clinic on why passive, umbrella “prevent” looks drive fans insane, with shout-outs to aggressive DCs who actually send heat on money downs (Spags hive, rise).Special Teams Corner returns (bring antacids): Desmond Howard nostalgia, the ghosts of Seattle fakes, and a plea to put real dudes on kick block/return units because everyone is attacking Green Bay’s edges right now. Justice-someone-please-block-somebody.The Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Picks segment sprawls gloriously: Micah Parsons sack math (decimal points included), longest Bengals completion, when Cincy scores its first TD, Jacobs YPC optimism (OL health caveats apply), Tucker Kraft target share, and the traditional Packers total-points tie-breaker. You degenerates know the drill—email Mike and get in the Google doc.Mailbag & moments: A Chief Tom limerick (!) gets the full dramatic reading, and the episode is dedicated to Don Gray—mentor, Peace Corps legend, and friend of the show. Classy, heartfelt stuff amidst the chaos.Pop Culture: Dave’s on Hulu’s The Lowdown plus a rave rewatch of Deadwood—36 eps and a movie of Shakespearean swearing, frontier ethics, and a doctor everyone wants in-network. Bring subtitles and a strong constitution. All that, plus the usual sarcasm, fake board-meeting minutes, and a totally normal amount of confidence that Green Bay will come out “frothing” on Sunday. Ep 2007Can Watson's Return Change LaFleur's Conservative Playcalling Ways? | Packers Weekly #115
The Green Bay Packers offense has looked inconsistent — but could the return of Christian Watson be the spark that changes everything? In this week’s episode of Packers Weekly, hosts Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton break down how Watson’s speed, big-play ability, and chemistry with Jordan Love might finally push Matt LaFleur out of his conservative playcalling shell. After weeks of questions about LaFleur’s trust in his young quarterback and his reluctance to stretch the field, the guys take a closer look at what Watson brings to the table — and whether his return can unlock the explosive version of this offense fans have been waiting for.🎙️ In this episode, we cover:How Christian Watson’s deep-threat presence changes defensive schemesWhether Matt LaFleur’s offensive approach has become too predictableWhat to expect from the Love-to-Watson connection as it developsHow Green Bay’s game plan could evolve with a fully healthy receiver groupReactions from Packers Twitter and fan debates around LaFleur’s strategyThis isn’t your typical hot-take sports show — Packers Weekly dives deep into the X’s and O’s, team culture, and long-term direction of the franchise. EChris Lempesis is back in the basement Packer room with another Tuesday night edition of Emptying The Bag, cracking open a beer and ripping through a mountain of listener mail after Green Bay’s 40–40 tie with Dallas. He kicks things off with a trip down memory lane, revisiting the infamous disaster that was the Packers’ 2004 draft third round (BJ Sander, anyone?). From there, it’s all about your questions and comments — and Packers therapy.Topics covered include:Jordan Love proving once again he’s the guy with four clutch scoring drivesJerry Jones’ “mafia refs” and the non-existent holding calls on Micah ParsonsWhy Matt LaFleur’s ultra-conservative play calling in OT felt like waving the white flagThe ongoing Rich Bisaccia/Special Teams circus (is it finally time for change?)Defensive breakdowns, Nate Hobbs struggles, and Edgerrin Cooper’s rough nightListener rants on everything from Twitter/X to BlueSky to Facebook falsehoodsThere’s history, humor, beer reviews, and plenty of catharsis for Packers Nation. Ep 2003Poor Coaching Continues To Hold The Packers Back | Packers Weekly #114
Unless the Packers make some coaching changes over the bye week, these problems are here to stay. Bisaccia's special teams unit can't protect a field goal effectively. Play calling is terrible. Officiating was terrible, which wouldn't have been reason for losing if the special teams unit didn't give up a blocked field goal for 2 points. You can't put yourself at the mercy of officiating. That said, apparently holding isn't a penalty anymore. Someone seriously needs to tell the Packers offensive line so they can take advantage. Will LaFleur make the moves a leader needs to make to correct these problems? Let's talk about it, Packers fans! Another week, another rollercoaster for Green Bay fans. In this episode of Packers Weekly, hosts Miles Teteak and Tim Hamilton dive deep into one of the most frustrating games of the season — a messy matchup that ends in a tie and leaves fans with more questions than answers. From start to finish, the guys pull apart the game’s biggest issues, pointing directly at poor coaching decisions that continue to hold this Packers team back. They don’t sugarcoat the ugly reality: whether it’s game management blunders, uninspired play-calling, or a lack of adjustments in critical moments, Green Bay’s sideline leadership is costing the team wins. You’ll hear Miles and Tim’s raw reactions as they debate who deserves to be on the hot seat, why a tie feels worse than a loss, and what changes the Packers must make to stay competitive in the NFC North. Overreactions are welcome, and so are the inevitable trolls from rival fanbases who always show up in the comments after a game like this. But it’s not all doom and gloom. The hosts also highlight where the team still shows promise, the players who continue to fight, and what fans can realistically hope for as the season unfolds. With their trademark mix of passionate rants, honest analysis, and a little humor to keep things bearable, Miles and Tim capture the true spirit of Packer Nation — frustrated, loyal, and hungry for better football. Whether you’re ready to join the “fire somebody” chorus, looking for a place to vent after another head-scratching performance, or just want to hear from diehard fans who live and breathe the Green and Gold, this episode is for you. Ep 2002It’s OK, My Sister is a Cowboys Cheerleader | Packers Therapy #484
Episode 484 of Packers Therapy dives into one of the strangest outcomes in recent memory: the Green Bay Packers’ 40–40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys, the highest-scoring tie in NFL history. As the old saying goes, a tie is like kissing your sister—and Chris, Dave, and the good Dr. Klaus all agree this one left more of an aftertaste than a spark. Was it a wasted opportunity for Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur’s crew, or should Packers fans feel lucky to limp out of Jerry World with half a win? The guys wrestle with whether ties even belong in football, relive the chaos of blown special teams plays, and scratch their heads over a defense that looked more like last year’s than Baltimore’s. Of course, “Trapdoor Love” makes a return, Rich “Wormtongue” Bisaccia takes some heat, and the always-beloved Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Pics provide comic relief.Along the way, you’ll hear:Jordan Love’s dazzling stats…and his maddening fumble. How a blocked extra point changed the game’s entire trajectory. Why Micah Parsons saved the game at the end but still felt invisible most of the night.Special teams déjà vu that has fans wondering if Basaccia’s headset is just for show.Listener emails, limericks, and the glory of winning a pub quiz in Racine. So pour a brandy Old Fashioned, laugh at the absurdity, and join us in wondering: did the Packers escape, collapse, or both? One thing’s for sure—this 40–40 draw will live in infamy, right next to Old Smoky root beer brandy and Chris’s worm-infested metaphors. Ep 2001Well… Alright Then: Packers–Cowboys ends 40–40 | LempsTalkinPack #221
EChris Lempesis is back in the basement Packer Room after a game that somehow landed on 40–40 and just… stopped. Well… alright then.He opens with the final minute of overtime—where the clock turned into Green Bay’s clumsiest opponent—and talks through what Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love did (and didn’t) do with timeouts, tempo, and play calls inside the Dallas 12. From there, Chris gets into the bigger theme of the night: no complimentary football. The offense came to play—Love dropping dimes, Josh Jacobs and Emmanuel Wilson running angry, Tucker Kraft and Romeo Doubs making money catches—while the defense and special teams packed a rollercoaster and forgot the seatbelts. You’ll hear:Why that late sequence felt like playing for a tie, and how to fix the two-minute/OT operation so it never looks that sleepy again. The good stuff on offense: Love’s poise, the quick game finally humming, Jacobs’ second-half juice, Wilson’s spark, and why Kraft needs 7–8 targets minimum. The bad stuff on defense: a quiet pass rush against a patchwork Dallas line, soft zones that turned into explosives, and tackling that made you say words you shouldn’t say around kids.Special teams (deep sigh): the blocked PAT swing, return-lane leaks, and the case for big changes during the bye.A sampler of listener questions from Twitter, BlueSky, Facebook, and email—straight-shooting answers included, with a few folksy jokes to take the edge off. It’s cathartic, fiery, and very Packers Nation—a tie that feels like a lesson. Ep 1999Packers Seek Rebound in Dallas After Browns Heartbreaker | Cheesehead Radio #366
The Green Bay Packers had it. Up 10–0 late in the fourth quarter, their defense dominating, win probability sitting at 95%. And then… everything unraveled. Penalties piled up, Jordan Love tossed a brutal interception, and a blocked field goal swung momentum straight into Cleveland’s hands. The Browns walked it off, 13–10, in one of the ugliest collapses of the Matt LaFleur era.On Cheesehead Radio #366: Packers Seek Rebound in Dallas After Browns Heartbreaker, CD, Kelly, and Jersey Al sift through the wreckage of a game that slipped through Green Bay’s fingers — and look ahead to the biggest test of the young season. We cover it all:The Browns BreakdownThe Interception: Jordan Love’s decision-making under pressure, the mechanics that failed him, and why the offense can’t panic in crunch time. The Blocked Field Goal: Rookie Jordan Morgan’s protection miscue, Rich Bisaccia’s unit under fire again, and how years of special teams demons keep resurfacing. The “Tap Spot” Controversy: Why the final seconds felt like a ref-aided gut punch, what Football Zebras says about the rule, and why the optics were so brutal for Packers fans.14 Penalties: False starts, offsides, and the lack of discipline that turned a win into a meltdown. The Defense Deserves BetterRashan Gary continues his sack rampage, McKinney makes a play, and the front seven looks elite. Why the defense did enough to win — and how the offense and special teams wasted it.Cowboys Week: The Bounce-BackMicah Parsons’ Dallas Homecoming: The emotional return of the NFL’s most disruptive defender, facing his former teammates in primetime.O-Line Chaos: With Zach Tom and Aaron Banks dinged up, can Green Bay’s patchwork line survive Parsons and the Dallas pass rush?Cowboys’ Injuries: CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs, and key linemen are banged up — is Dallas vulnerable?AT&T History: Packers are 5–0 at JerryWorld, including Super Bowl XLV. Ep 1998Emptying The Bag ’25: Browns Edition | LempsTalkinPack #220
EChris Lempesis is back in the basement Packer room for another Tuesday night edition of Emptying The Bag, cracking a beer and sorting through a mountain of listener mail after the Green Bay Packers’ 13–10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He opens with some classic, good-natured Cowboys Week venom (because of course), then gets into what went wrong by the lake: a historically bad offensive line performance, a run game stuck in mud, too many penalties and special-teams gaffes, and a tough day for Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur. From Twitter, BlueSky, Facebook, and email, Chris reads your questions and comments and gives straight-shooting answers—folksy jokes included. He talks why the protection fell apart, what the film says about Love’s decision on the late interception, why Tucker Kraft needs more touches, and how the defense (hello, swagger) still gives this team a championship ceiling if the offense cleans up the details. There’s practical stuff, too: how LaFleur can tweak the game plan (more quick game, fewer self-inflicted wounds), what needs to change on special teams, and why you shouldn’t jump off the Jordan Love bandwagon just yet. It’s cathartic, fiery, and very Packers Nation—the perfect mailbag to reset the vibes heading into Packers vs. Cowboys on Sunday night at Lambeau. You can follow Chris on twitter at LempsMKE (@ItsJustChrisNow)LempsTalkingPack is a part of the Packers Talk family of podcasts, serving up enough weekly podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. Ep 1997If It’s Brown, Flush It Down | Packers Therapy #483
In the wake of a highly disappointing loss to the Browns, Chris and Dave brought in the esteemed Dr. Klaus, which was about the only competent decision of the night. Otherwise, it was Jordan "Trap Door" Love at QB—one moment promising, the next bewildering. To make matters worse, penalties piled up like dirty laundry, And speaking of bewildering, there was MLF at the helm of a team that seemed to think they’d already won the Lombardi Trophy -- sadly, two great wins to open the season is just two nice games in a 17 game slate. Finally, there's Rich Bisaccia’s Special Teams Circus (copyright pending), which continues to mystify and depress fans -- might be time for Rich to polish up that resume. Fun podcast. Ugly game. Classic Packers Therapy. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapyPayPal: [email protected] its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.Packers Therapy is a part of the Packers Talk family of podcasts, serving up five distinct podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. Ep 1996Did The Packers Get Caught Looking Ahead To Dallas? | Packers Weekly #113
Now that we've all overreacted let's come back to earth a little bit. Let's refresh on a couple of important facts of reality: going undefeated doesn't happen in the NFL, the Browns have an elite defense, and every team is going to have at least one dud game. Was this a dud game, or did the Packers get caught looking ahead to Dallas? Let's talk about it, Packers fans! Go Pack Go!Be sure to join Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton every week as they breakdown what’s going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers. Ep 1995Too Many Mistakes By The Lake | LempsTalkinPack #219
EChris Lempesis is back in the basement Packer room to unpack Green Bay’s ugly 13-10 road loss to the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field. This one had all the hallmarks of a “Mistake by the Lake” special: sloppy offense, head-scratching coaching, penalties galore, and a blocked field goal to seal it.Chris puts the spotlight squarely on Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love — breaking down a sluggish game plan, costly brain farts, and why this felt like one of the worst regular-season losses of the LaFleur era. The offensive line was a mess, the special teams disaster struck again, and Love couldn’t elevate the team when it mattered most.Of course, it’s not all doom and gloom. Chris tips his cap to a defense that mostly held strong, wonders aloud how many false starts a team can stomach, and shares some gallows humor from listeners who chimed in with their takes. From the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame backdrop to the bitter taste of “old beer game energy,” this episode is as raw and real as Packers Nation felt on Sunday. You can follow Chris on twitter at LempsMKE (@ItsJustChrisNow)LempsTalkingPack is a part of the Packers Talk family of podcasts, serving up enough weekly podcasts to satisfy the most fervent of Packer fans. Ep 1992How Do You Stop This Packers Team??? | Packers Weekly #112
After 2 weeks and 2 decisive wins against 2 seemingly good teams, this Packers team looks like the team to beat in the NFL. Typically at this point in the season, Packers fans have their "yeah buts" already identified. The rushing defense has historically been one of those "yeah buts". It doesn't look like this team has any of those yet. What is going to stop this team from winning a Super Bowl??? Let's talk about it, Packers fans! Ep 1991A Very Special Day | Packers Therapy #482
Packers Therapy goes to Lambeau, with Chris and Dave proving they can survive without their recliners. Listeners gathered for a meetup that felt like a family reunion run by dysfunctional cousins. The Packers delivered a Commanding victory over Washington, thanks to a defense that is proving to be a notch up over last year's very good unit. Dr. Klaus made the trip from Norway, while Paul and Caroline Fix masterfully led the tailgate. Jayden Reed’s injury dampened spirits during the game, but that sadness was forgotten during the pod when the HaHa Clinton Dix Picks quickly returned things to chaos. The highlight? “Dr. Klaus’ Very Favorite Day!" Ep 1988Lions Flaccid Without Johnson | Packers Therapy #481
Chris and Dave roar into the Packers’ matchup against a Johnson-less Detroit outfit, with Micah Parsons making a dominant debut that shaped the flow of what turned out to be a one-sided game.
