Show Notes
In today's episode, I am joined by fabulous Dr. Tonia Winchester who chats about how we can use Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) to help - not just manage - but heal old emotional pain and stories that are keeping us from being who we want to be, doing what we want to be doing, and having what we want to be having.
NLP is a psychological approach that focuses on the relationship between the neurological processes of the brain, language, and behavioural patterns. It is based on the belief that language and behaviour are interconnected and that, by changing the language and thought patterns we use, we can change our behaviour and the outcomes we achieve. Moreover, by changing the way we think and talk about our experiences, we can shift our perspective and reduce the impact of negative emotions while developing new patterns of behaviour that promote resilience, healing, and well-being.
Dr. Tonia talks about how she guides her clients through a "Breakthrough" process where they easily and gently clear the past, and recode their unconscious minds, priming them to make and sustain positive changes in their health and beyond. The results are a strengthened connection to self - more self-love, worth, and value - allowing them to take care of themselves in a self-affirming way, build happy, meaningful relationships and compelling futures.
