73. How do you fix ODD/anxiety? (Part 2)

In this episode of Overpowering Emotions, I continue talking about ODD and anxiety and, importantly, how to manage them.

There are numerous considerations when we have a kiddo with an ODD diagnosis, like addressing their (mis)interpretations of situations. But, even more importantly, I discuss the key environmental issues that must be addressed before we can ever work on kids' skills.

Part 2 of this ODD/anxiety series is critical to optimize our success in working with children and teens diagnosed with ODD and their families.   If you haven't already, be sure to watch Part 1 to first understand these kiddos' emotion  (dys)regulation and information processing biases, along with their developmental age, parent-child interactions, accommodations, and control.
