A few weeks ago, I made the decision to retire my nickname of "Nemo" and return to my actual name "Niiamah".
I had no intention that morning of ever changing my name from Nemo. I had gone be that nickname for over 15 years. And in one hour, I went through an experience that forever shifted my life and had me proudly reclaim who I truly am.
