Performance psychologist Dr. Benjamin Bernstein is a very well-respected doctor of applied psychology, public speaker, coach, lecturer, and author of many books, including "Stressed Out! for Parents: How to Be Calm, Confident, and Focused." He's also a musical theater nerd, composer of operas, and fellow pianist. Ticks all the right boxes. Anyway, he dropped by OffScrip Media Studios for an in-person conversation – how novel – and not only did we compare notes on both being fully vaccinated, we had a fascinating discussion about stress, anxiety, stage fright, what a modern-day coach means in 2021, and how, back in the day, it still wasn't ok to tell someone dealing with all sorts of crap to "just get over it."
