The Association for Value-Based Cancer Care (AVBCC) is a behind-the-scenes organization deep in the subbasement of healthcare. Their purpose is to ensure that the "right patients" get prescribed the "right medicine" at the "right time," hopefully with minimal drama, while avoiding anyone going bankrupt. That's the gist.
