7-18-23 Mike Detillier on Dak Prescott as a Leader, Importance of Strong QB

New Orleans Saints and LSU insider Mike Detillier joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about Dak Prescott as a leader and the work involved with being an NFL QB live in the BankPlus Studio. Mike talks about arriving to the Saints facility early one Thursday morning to receive a package and found that Drew Brees was already present and putting in work. Mike and Bo talk about the amount of time and effort QB's put into the game in order to receive the massive paydays and relates it to the amount of work head coaches have to put in. Bo gives Mike a quote from a former teammate of Dak Prescott, Cole Beasley, where the former receiver talks about Dak as the best leader he has ever played with. Mike believes this is more of a compliment towards Dak rather than an insult to Josh Allen and recites a saying that defines the attention around the quarterback position: more credit in wins, more blame in losses.
