Oxford restauranteur Alex Kiame, Jr. (AJ) joins the show live from Finch & Kelly in Oxford talking about his family's longstanding relationship with the town and it's people. AJ discusses his father opening one of the first wine and spirits stores in town, Kiame Package Store, in 1966, and how that has evolved into AJ opening two of the hottest restaurants in Oxford: The Sipp and YUGO. AJ talks about the unique experience of opening a restaurant in a college town as COVID unfolded and how they worked through that as a business and a family. Former Ole Miss football star and NFL veteran Todd Wade joins the show live from Finch & Kelly in Oxford talking everything from Rebels athletics to his life as a professional football player. Todd and Bo talk a little cigars and their big dinner last night before getting into a football discussion around long snappers and specialized positions in football. Todd tells the story of the time he wrestled former NBA star Dennis Rodman while at a bar in Florida when the two were both still playing professionally. Todd talks about the time in high school that he tried to convince his coach to move him from offensive line to tight end and what it was like being recruited by Tommy Tuberville at Ole Miss. Todd talks about how the first year in Oxford went on the field and how he was quickly moved from defense to offense after just a few practices.
