Former Mississippi State All-SEC basketball player Shane Power joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about the team at the end of February live in the BankPlus Studio. Shane talks about the crazy game between Mississippi State and Kentucky and he remembers going to class after a loss and getting a standing ovation. Shane points out the battle between two talented freshmen last night and how Josh Hubbard was able to keep his cool in the highest pressure moments. Bo asks Shane about the production from Cam Matthews after getting his third foul and the coaching at the end of the game. Shane breaks down the talented roster of Kentucky and lists all of the future NBA players MSU faced last night. Shane talks about how he thought there were goin to be adjustments made on defense but the Kentucky offense kept rolling. Bo asks Shane what he thinks of freshman Josh Hubbard's ability to stay calm in the big moments and he mentions that he has a humble confidence that allows him to compete with himself. Shane talks about the tough loss for the team but he says the best way to respond is by giving Auburn a hard game and developing a mindset. Chane thinks this is the most competitive the SEC has been in a long time and Bo talks about the talent and coaching in the conference.
