Steve breaks down how slow MSU's defense looked against Auburn and the mismanagement of play calling at the end of the first half. Steve breaks down Mississippi State's young coaching staff and the need to have experience in coaching schemes. Bo asks Steve if Will Rogers would want to get back on the field and Steve thinks that Will wants to play regardless if he is fully healthy. Steve talks about the fact that MSU let Auburn QB Payton Thorne play out of his mind against the Bulldogs. Steve says that MSU needs to decide right now if they want to be a good program and if they do then they need to go out and spend the money for players and coaches. Steve and Bo talk about what Mississippi State needs at head coach if they move on from Zach Arnett and the criteria for the next hire. Steve looks at how MSU hasn't had a giant recruit on the defense in a long time and the possible reasons for the lack of a difference maker. Steve talks about how Dan Mullen was able to develop players on the defense and the need for talent like that this season. Steve says that something has to change with the football program and they need to make a commitment to their money maker.
