D&C 112 is a revelation to Thomas B. Marsh, the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, instructing him to be humble and strengthen his brethren. D&C 113 provides answers to questions about Isaiah's writings, clarifying symbols like the "stem of Jesse." Finally, D&C 114 is a brief revelation to David W. Patten, instructing him to prepare for a mission, emphasizing the importance of being ready to serve the Lord. These sections highlight themes of trust in the Lord's guidance, humility, and readiness to serve.
