Delano Burrowes is an American writer, poet, artist, and curator who has written for publications like HuffPost. He's from Great Barrington, Massachusetts, the same city as early 20th Century Black American sociologist, socialist, historian, and Pan-Africanist civil rights activist W.E.B. Du Bois. Delano's also co-founder of The Blackyard Collective NYC. He shares what motivates him to embrace who he is while encouraging others to do the same.
