Dr. Byron D. Brooks, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in Loyola University Chicago’s Department of Psychology. Dr. Brooks looks for ways to develop culturally responsive interventions mitigating health inequities to bolster well-being among the community. He’s also written for the Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings, LGBT Health, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, and other periodicals. Additionally, Dr. Brooks is the director of RISE Lab.
