With the 2026 Women's Six Nations kicking off this weekend, Cameron Hill spoke to former Ireland head coach Philip Doyle, who was at the helm for Ireland's one and only Grand Slam in 2013, as well as their push to the semi-finals of the 2014 Rugby World Cup.
He recalls the very early days of women's rugby in Ireland, the infamous overnight train to Pau mere hours before a 2012 game against France, and why he feels the Ireland backs need to far more effective in this year's competition.
