Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announces arrest in shooting death of Jeffrey Blevins. David Richard Morris, a resident of Fountain Place Apartments, is charged with second-degree murder, discharging a firearm in a residential area, resisting arrest, and interfering with traffic devices. A bloody nine millimeter handgun, stained towel, and clothes with blood were found in Morriss apartment. Morris put up a fight during the search and was also found with two illegal street signs. No bond was set on the murder charge after his court appearance.
