James Tolkan, known for his tough-guy roles in Back to the Future and Top Gun, has passed away at 94. The character actor, who spent 25 years in New York theater and joined the original cast of Glengarry Glen Ross, continued to work in films and TV until 2011. He is survived by his wife and three nieces.
