Cheryl Jefferson, a 63-year-old Florida woman, faces charges of organized scheme to defraud after allegedly selling other peoples properties without their knowledge. Authorities claim she tricked victims into losing their homes through fake real estate deals. The scam began in January 2024 when a woman discovered her property sold without her consent. Jefferson allegedly used the proceeds to fund a recording studio in Nashville, as she believed she was helping country singers Brian Kelley and Chase Rice. Police found four similar scams in other states. Jefferson posted a $100,000 bond and was released after her arrest.
