Show Notes
The Browns entertained their fans Sunday with a surprising 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field.
The game marked the debut of Jameis Winston as the Browns’ starting quarterback, in place of Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season after Achilles tendon surgery Friday. Winston threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman with 59 seconds left for the final margin as the Browns (2-6) ended a losing streak at five.
Winston finished the day 27 of 41 passing for 334 yards. It was his first start since Sept. 25, 2022, for New Orleans.
So what does Winston‘s performance mean for the Browns’ future at quarterback? What does it mean for Deshaun Watson? Was there more to this performance by the offense than just the quarterback change?
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe talk about what they saw Sunday in this episode of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast.
They talk Winston and then they talk about Denzel Ward suffering his sixth known concussion.
