Show Notes

Obi Emegano is an 8-year professional basketball player and Tokyo 2020 Olympian. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s studies in the same field, he has seamlessly combined his academic insights with his athletic experience to create WonByOne. Through its flagship program, the Mindful Athletic Performance Program (MAPP), WonByOne empowers athletes, professionals, and teams to cultivate mental resilience, manage stress, and achieve peak performance. The MAPP framework is already transforming how individuals approach their mental game, providing tools to enhance focus, reduce anxiety, and elevate results—both in sports and in business. Obi is also the host of The WonByOne Mental Health Podcast, a platform dedicated to exploring real-life stories of overcoming mental hurdles, building mental strength, and embracing personal growth. Guests from diverse backgrounds share one common mission: to break the stigma surrounding mental health and inspire others to prioritize their well-being. Having competed at the highest levels and overcome significant personal challenges, Obi understands the immense pressure to perform. His mission is clear: to help others not just survive in high-stress environments, but thrive—whether in athletics, the boardroom, or everyday life.
