Governments hold a lot of data. A huge amount of data. And many are beginning to open it up for citizens and businesses to monitor and improve all sorts of things – from education and public services to crime rates and traffic. But all this data has to be stored, managed and presented in ways people can understand. CKAN is a data management platform used by governments and organisations around the world to handle these important functions.
